Five days of faith, growth and sisterhood
A five-day residential camp for Muslim girls aged 16 and above, combining Islamic learning, mentorship, worship, life skills, sisterhood and recreation.
About the camp
Ansaar Muslim Sisters’ annual Girls’ Camp is a five-day residential programme designed for Muslim girls aged 16 years and above in a fun, engaging and spiritually enriching environment. Participants are invited from across the coastal region, including girls in secondary school as well as college and university students.
The 2026 Girls’ Camp was held in Witu, bringing Ansaar’s total recorded camps to 12.
The camp is usually offered free of charge and depends on donations to make that possible. Ansaar provides accommodation, bedding and all meals throughout the five days so participants can focus on learning, worship and personal growth without financial barriers.
Throughout the camp, participants take part in Islamic lectures and reminders addressing issues affecting the Ummah and the realities young Muslim women face. The programme encourages a stronger relationship with Allah, a return to salah, good akhlaq and greater awareness around issues such as drug abuse, while also supporting career development and practical life skills.
The five days also include mentorship sessions, group discussions, Qur’an recitation, daily acts of worship, team-building activities, sports and games. Living and learning together helps participants develop responsibility, discipline, cooperation and sisterhood while building meaningful friendships.
By combining Islamic learning with mentorship and recreation, the camp aims to help young Muslim women grow in confidence, knowledge and practice, and positively contribute to their families and communities.
